BRAZORIA COUNTY.jpg

Hi, I’m Steve Kedlarchuk. I’m a retired oil-field equipment engineer with a Haliburton subsidiary in Dallas. I have lived happily in Surfside Beach for 23 years.

My constant companions are a black lab, two dachshunds and a bird. I am the proud grandfather of four wonderful children. My son and his wife own a locksmith business in Dallas. On weekends I work at the MSR motor track, fulfilling my lifelong love of fast cars and motorcycles.

I’m running for our village Council because I love living here. I thank God every day for the blessing of our beach and ocean and my neighbors. But we all know there are problems that could be fixed to make life even better.

I’m also running on a promise.  A promise to WORK HARD on these important goals. I’ll try to build consensus on the Council to ACT. We may not get them all done this time, but I’m sure going to try every day to get us closer. Here are my goals:

1) Tap water safe to drink and bathe in without an expensive RO system.

2) Streets you can drive on without hitting potholes.

3) Keeping our community safe from the high-pressure SPOT oil pipeline that will threaten our beach, quiet lifestyle and property values.

4) Keeping our beach safe, stable and clean (I’m a member of SOBA).

If you agree these are important goals for you and your family, I would really appreciate your vote on May 4.  Thank you!

I’m proud to announce that I’ve been endorsed by
Austin Campbell and Texas Campaign for the Environment.
